Prairie

Late summer on the Illinois Prairie offers many photographic opportunities. I shot the following pictures in various locations around Byron, Illinois. Some of these pictures were taken in within the beautiful Byron Forest Preserve District where there are miles of trails and numorous landscape variences. As usual, I used my trusty Canon 20D and few different lens. All post ptroduction was done in Photoshop CS3.

Carnival

I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph the Winnebago County Fair in Pecatonica, Illinois on a quiet Friday night. I really had a good time both photographing and doing the post production. I had no idea what kind of shots I was going to get nor did I have any one particular shot in mind that I wanted to get. I spent about fours at the fair photographing and rephotographing different attractions I really let myself loose and just shot what came to me. I spent about double the time in post production and took the same mindset. That is why there is no common thread in this gallery. This has to have been one the most fun shoots I have had. I hope you enjoy.
